MtM #VegasDO Was Fantastic!

Yesterday was the first meetup I have organized in Las Vegas and I think it was a great success. In the end we had 34 miles & points fanatics come and listen to presentations on Vegas loyalty programs and a variety of miles/points strategies and deals. Of course the best part of the entire event was getting to meet everyone. We definitely have to do it again sometime!

I want to send a huge thank you shoutout to PDX Deals Guy and Alan the Single Flyer for speaking and sharing their knowledge and passion with everyone! Their presentations were great and I believe Alan is going to be uploading his presentation on his website for anyone who is interested.

As I have said before, the best part of meetups/conferences is really the conversations that take place outside of the formal venue. I was fortunate to get to speak to a lot of readers and wish I had more time to speak to others. To everyone who attended, thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart. It is good to meet some of the faces of people who enjoy and read Miles to Memories.

If you weren’t able to make it, hopefully I’ll see you next month at the Chicago Seminars or in November at Travelcon II here in Vegas.

Have a great Sunday!

  1. Thank YOU Shawn for hosting and organizing the event. It was actually my first meet up and definitely worth coming down from Seattle for it. I’ll upload my presentation this afternoon when I have reliable wifi (ie not at they hotel). Let’s do it again soon! #VegasDO

  2. So sorry I wasn’t able to attend, but hopefully next time. To those fortunate enough to attend, please post your comments!

    • Nice! Thanks a lot Alan! Great talking points. Wish I was there. The slides are empty without the speaker!

Hopefully, I will get a chance to hang out with you and Shawn in the future.

  4. Sorry for my delayed reply to this post! Thanks, Shawn, for hosting such a great event. And thanks for inviting me to present. It was great meeting everyone. Look forward to the next one!
