Key Terms

  • All CardCash promotions are valid until the expiration date written on the email.
  • Most promotions are not yet available on the app.
  • Maximum $3,000 per customer

5X with Chase Ink

Purchases from CardCash have been earning 5X Ultimate Rewards points if you pay with a Chase Ink Cash, Ink Bold or Ink Plus card through PayPal. That definitely sweetens the deal.

45 Day Guarantee Only!

CardCash only guarantees their cards for 45 days. From time to time cards purchased from CardCash do go bad. They have always done a good job of guaranteeing cards within the 45 day window, however I would not buy a card unless you have an immediate use.

Conclusion

This is a great deal on Amazon gift cards since you get a 2% discount plus 5X Ultimate Rewards. Amazon gift cards are selling fast, so hurry.

Just keep their guarantee policy in mind and you should be fine.

  1. I would be very, very leery of buying anything from Cardcash. I had a major problem with Hyatt gift cards I bought from Cardcash, and they refuse to help in any manner. It appears that the gift cards they sent me were dead before they sent them. They just like to unload other gift cards and hope that if they work that’s good. If they don’t work, like mine, they hope we will not complain. I recommend staying away from Cardcash!

  2. I have bought Amazon gift cards from stores way back when at much larger discounts. (not recently)
    None disappeared.

For only 2% for only a 45 day window, I wouldn’t chance it.

    • I personally bought $2K worth of Amazon cards and saw all of the higher denominations disappearing. We only post CardCash deals when we feel they are worth buying.

  3. Also, beware about buying Nordstrom cards. I used to buy a ton for reselling but it ended up getting my account banned as some of the cards I bought were involved in fraud. Even sent them proof that I purchased the gift cards used but they didn’t care.

  4. Hotels.com has a procedure that seems to eliminate the possibility of being stuck with a bad second hand gift card after the guarantee period has expired. If you have one card you know is good, you can merge any other card’s balance on to the good one. That essentially uses up the second hand card and no one can use it again. Am I missing anything?

  5. Correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read even if you add your amazon code to your account it doesn’t “wash” it and you’re still on the hook if those funds are used. If not, then INK+ this deal is a nice little discount for Amazon GC, especially in Q3.
