Key Terms

  • Minimum transfer is 1,000 Membership Rewards points.
  • Redeem for this exclusive offer from 12:00 a.m. MT on November 10, 2017 to 11:59 p.m. MT on December 10, 2017, to receive 20% additional Aeroplan Miles.

Conclusion

This is a pretty good bonus if you can make use or Aeroplan miles. Air Canada is a member of the StarAlliance, so their miles are redeemable on many carriers to many destinations. For 55,000 miles (46K Mr points now) you can fly one-way from Continental US and Canada to Europe in business class. You can also get good value on domestic U.S. and Canada round-trip flights for 25,000 (21K MR points now) miles where you’re allowed either one stopover or open jaw.

Just keep in mind that Air Canada will launch its own loyalty program in 2020, so don’t transfer points for long term plans.
