Groupon 25% Off

deal roundup

I tweeted this out yesterday (a good reason to follow me on Twitter), but in case you missed it, Groupon is offering 25% off almost all deals with the code SUPER25. Unlike with past deals, there are some restrictions as to what can be purchased, but I find that the code works on almost everything.

While you can only use the code on 1 voucher per transaction, each account is allowed to use the code up to 3 times total. The promotion expires today and don’t forget that you can get cashback through a variety of portals.

Raise 3% Off

deal roundup

Gift card marketplace Raise is offering an additional 3% off of ALL gift cards today with the code 3RAISE. I was able to find some nice deals using this code and hopefully you can too.

If you have never bought from Raise, you can use my personal referral link and get $5 for signing up. (I get $5 too.) When purchasing you can go through Top Cashback for 2% as well, although I am not sure if the cashback from the portal and the code will stack. Doesn’t hurt to try though!

Free $5 from Amazon

deal roundup

Amazon is currently offering $5 for people who download their mobile app and login to their account. This deal has been around for about a week, but I decided to hold off on writing about it until I could verify it worked.

Thankfully I downloaded the app and received the following email yesterday confirming my $5:

Thank you for trying the Amazon mobile app. We saw that you signed in and we want to let you know that the $5 Gift Card will be applied within 7 days of your sign-in. In the mean time, we hope you enjoy shopping millions of products wherever you go.

Now this offer was targeted and the terms do say it only works for people who received the offer. With that said, I didn’t receive the offer and it worked for me. I figure it is worth the try. You can find the full terms and more information about the promotion here.

  1. Keep in mind it’s one-time use code for Raise. I just bought $1,000 worth of gift cards while using the 3% which turned into a money maker by itself of 1.1% once I resell them to Cardpool. Used BBVA card with 5x NBA Finals promo, stacked with AGC to give me an effective 7% profit margin on top of the 1.1%. Spent about $720 so made $58 from one transaction.

Going to use my Wife’s account to get one more transaction in. The hard part is trying to snipe off the best value cards that pop up (setting Alert for gift cards) and snag them, all while trying to hold off for the largest possible purchase total so that I can maximize the 3% off Raise coupon.
