Delta Flash Sale Europe

Delta is discounting awards for travel to Europe during late Summer and early fall in both Economy and Delta One.

The Offer

Your March SkyMiles Flash Sale will take you to the rolling hills, lively pubs and undeniable magic of Ireland, or to other exciting European hotspots.

Key Terms

  • Origins & Destinations: Award fares starting at 50,000 miles round trip (plus taxes and fees) on select flights between the U.S. 48 to Europe.
  • Fares:
    • Main Cabin starting at 50,000 miles round-trip (plus taxes and fees)
    • Delta One starting at 110,000 miles round-trip (plus taxes and fees)
  • Purchase By: March 15, 2017
  • Travel Period: Travel may begin on or after August 1, 2017 and all travel must be completed by October 31, 2017.

Analysis

Delta no longer publishes award charts, but their cheapest prices to Europe are normally 60,000 SkyMiles roundtrip in economy and 140,000 roundtrip in Delta One. Thus you are saving 10K on a roundtrip economy ticket and 30,000 on a roundtrip business class ticket. Not bad overall and there does seem to be quite a bit of award space available.
