IHG Last Minute Reward Nights
Every first weekend of the month IHG releases a list of discount award redemptions called Last Minute Reward Nights. This month there are 26 properties on the list which are discounted 50% for stays from July 4-6.
Given the fact that it is a holiday weekend, I am not surprised that this month’s list isn’t too long. If you are like me and often partake in last minute travel though, this could be for you.
The List
There are 26 properties in total on this month’s list. Most of the properties are located in the U.S., with one each in Finland, Mexico & Columbia. As usual, the majority of the properties are Holiday Inn or Candlewood Suites brands with only a couple of Crowne Plazas making the list.
Overall, none of the properties really stand out to me. If I was heading out on the road though, I would check to see if any of them are in locations I am heading through. Many of the properties are going for as low as 5,000-7,500 points per night which is a fantastic deal.

Conclusion
If you are planning a last minute trip this weekend, then hotels are no doubt going to be expensive. Check out the Last Minute Rewards list to see if any of the properties match up with your plans, or better yet plan your trip around them!
