Increased Chase Card Bonuses

Increased Chase Card Bonuses In-Branch

Chase has several increased bonuses for some for its credit cards. These offers are available in branch only and some of them match the highest offers we have seen.

The Offers

These offer were reported by Danny the Deal Guru:

  • Ink Business Preferred Card: 100,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.
  • Ink Business Cash Card: $500 bonus cash back after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.

And these offers reported by Doctor of Credit:

  • Chase Sapphire Preferred: 60,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening. Plus 5,000 points for authorized user.
  • Chase Sapphire Reserve:60,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.
  • Chase Freedom: 30,000 bonus points after you spend $500 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.

Chase 5/24 Rule

These cards fall under the Chase 5/24 rule. However there’s ways to get around it with pre-approved offers, applying through a business relationship manager of if you’re a Chase Private Client.

Conclusion

These are some great offers, especially on the Ink Preferred and Ink Cash cards. It’s worth a trip if you have a branch nearby and you could also do this $500 account bonus. Chase has a major glitch last night with some customer accounts.

If you recently applied for any of these credit cards that have increased bonuses, you should send Chase a secured message. They often match to better bonuses so it is worth a try.

  1. My husband went in on the final day of the promotion week and opened up a chase business checking and business savings account for his business just so he could apply for this card. The BRM was out that day, but the person who helped him said it should be all good. When the BRM got back to him on Monday, he told him that the 20K extra points and waiving of the fee would only apply to businesses who had a million dollars of transactions through the account in the past year. Meaning, this promotion could apply to previous customers only. Seems like false advertising to me and led us to open a card with a $96 fee that we would not have opened otherwise.

  2. I applied in branch and got approved last week, too. Sent a SM requesting the 100K match. Was directed back to my Business Relationship Manager (BRM) in branch. The BRM contacted the deciders behind the scenes who recommended I meet the $5K spend to receive the bonus, and THEN have the BRM make a request again and it will most likely be approved.

  3. Went into the branch to inquire about Freedom card $300 offer after $500 spend and even though I am a Chase Private Client is still need an emailed invite with the offer in order to get it! Seriously! They called Chase credit card services and there was nothing they can do! So bummed.

  4. I have a checking account with Chase, but rarely enter the branch itself. I was wondering who do you talk to about credit card offers when you enter the branch? Do you ask the teller about the offers or do you talk to a banker? Do you need to have an appointment with someone at the branch to talk about credit card offers in person? Thanks for any help you can give.

  5. Went in-branch to see BRM. Not in but manager sent email and said I would receive a call concerning my match to 100K. Just received the call and was told that I needed to stop by the branch, have my recent approved app cancelled and apply again w/ the 100K offer. Looks like I will get the 100K.

    • Decided not to cancel the card. Spoke w/ the BRM and he inquired about me getting the 100K. Once I meet the 5K spend, come in-branch and I’ll get the 20K. Cool w/ me!

  6. Approved a few days ago in-branch. Haven’t received the card yet. Sent a secure message for 100K match. Will report back.

  7. Still the case that you can’t get a Sapphire bonus (or card) if you already have another Sapphire product?

      • Here’s the Secure Message reply: David, please be advised, the 100,000 bonus points offer
is only valid for Business Relationship Managed clients.
Hence, please contact your Business Relationship Manager
for assistance with matching this offer on your account.

Will stop by branch today to get matched.
