Carlson Hotels Bought by China’s HNA Tourism Group for Undisclosed Sum

Carlson hotels is the majority shareholder in Rezidor Hotels. HNA is a pretty big name already in travel with ownership stakes in a number of brands like Red Lion Hotels, Azul and Hainan Airlines among others. I wouldn’t worry about what will happen to Club Carlson quite yet. It is quite terrible already.

Delta gives Bombardier big order for new C Series jets

Move aside Boeing and Airbus. Bombardier gets a huge boost today with the sale of 75 CS100 narrow body jets to Delta. These jets are going to be much more fuel efficient than what they replace which will be good for the airline in the long term.
