Posts That Caught My Eye
It seems that at least some AA flights booked with ThankYou points are being awarded mileage based on the special fares chart. This could mean that long-haul business class tickets would earn many more miles than they do under the normal chart, but the jury is still out as to whether this applies to all tickets booked through ThankYou.

This is an in depth post and one that you will want to take some time to go over slowly and methodically, but in the end you can stretch the value of your United miles quite a bit with his strategies. Do it while you can!
Some decent sale fares from these two airlines. The link is to a Quick Deal I wrote on Frequent Miler highlighting some of the routes and the terms of the two sales. As with many of these, the sale won’t work for everyone, but if it corresponds with your travel, you can save a lot of money.
Small Business Saturday is returning the weekend after Thanksgiving, but we won’t know if they are going to offer a discount until October most likely. Considering how little momentum the day got last year without any deals to cause “buzz”, I think we might just get an offer this year. Or it could just be wishful thinking. Either way, it will be awhile before we know.
