A good reminder to not mess with companies that you rely on. I would be in a world of hurt if Google decided to shut down access to all of my accounts. Hopefully they will come to their senses and let people have their accounts back, but the big takeaway is that you should always think about how/why you are pushing the limits and whether or not it is worth it.

United Basic Economy

United announced their underwhelming basic economy fares which will work to transform them into a low cost carrier overnight. (As if their service wasn’t bad already.) These fares come with no guaranteed seat assignments, only one personal carry-on (fits under the seat), no elite qualifying credit, last group boarding and no upgrades. Where can I sign up?!?

  • Groupon is offering 20% off with the code SAVE20.  Ends today. Use a portal to save more.
  • You can generate a mystery code for Kohl’s giving 20-40% off on Slickdeals. Normally only Kohl’s chargeholders get these codes so this could be a nice way to save.
