Mlife Rewards & New Website
Today, Mlife sent an email to members announcing the program’s new name. Ok, they call it a new name, but I just call it an expansion. The new name is…..Mlife Rewards. No this is not a joke. They took the name of their program and added a word to it. As part of this “rebranding” they are also going to make it faster to earn Mlife rewards.
From their email:
Please look for a special announcement in early June, when we’ll introduce an exciting new way to earn more rewards. We think you’ll agree that the new name fits as M life is truly becoming more rewarding.
So as of now we just have the word “Rewards”, but no info as to how things are going to change. This would be a truly empty announcement if they didn’t also update their website recently.
The New Mlife Website
If you have been on the MGM Grand booking website in the past few months, then the new Mlife website should look familiar to you. The new website actually launched a couple of weeks ago, but they have now just formally announced it. On the website they have adopted a white theme and trashed the darker black background. Besides having better aesthetics, I think the website lays out your account information in a much better way. It seems to be faster as well.
Among the areas you can more easily explore on the website are restaurants and “Moments”. With restaurants, you can view the menu and book a table with a couple of simple clicks. The “Moments” sections gives you access to things like behind the scene tours and other unique events you might not have known about otherwise. Of course, your personalized offers are easily viewable as well and rooms can be booked easily.
So we now have a new website and a new name, but nothing else has changed. There is a promise of more ways to earn rewards, however we will have to wait to see exactly how that will happen. Either way, when a program decides to add things and not take them away I guess we should be happy. All I can say is long live the Hyatt Mlife partnership. I do enjoy my Platinum Mlife Rewards status.
