Groupon Discounts & Great Electronics Deals

small deals april 28 2015

Through tonight, Groupon is offering 20% off of their local deals. They also give 10% off Getaways deals and 10% off of Goods deals. In the past some people have mentioned that prices rise during these promotions, so that is something to look for. To get the discount use the code SALE3. Full terms here.

One fantastic deal I found for Groupon Goods is a refurbished Xbox One with Kinect and two free games for $270. (HT: Slickdeals) They also have a number of other decent deals on electronics.

Remember to go through a portal to save even more.

Staples Penny Paper

Staples is once again offering $.01 paper in store through May 2. (Coupon here.) This deal now seems to run every week. It can be a decent way to get rid of expiring rewards or Staples gift cards you have lying around.

Basically, if you ever pay for printer paper, then you must be crazy. There are enough of these deals around that I generally only take advantage when my supply gets down to 3 or 4 reams since I don’t want to store so much of it!

Free Nationwide 4G Internet

I have written before about FreedomPop. They basically give you free internet service using Sprint’s WiMax network with the hopes that you will pay for an upgraded package.

Currently it is possible to get a free modem and free service, but you do have to make sure not to opt in to their add-ons. I wrote in great detail about how to accomplish this and highly recommend reading my earlier post.

You can find the modem here and more info about this deal on Slickdeals. (Note: The 4G network this runs on is going dark in November, but it will still have 3G support. Plus it’s free!)

Have a great Tuesday afternoon!
