Southwest Schedule Spring Break 2017
Booking advanced reservations on Southwest can be difficult since the schedule is normally only available on average about 6 months out. Lately they have been opening it up in smaller chunks as well. The last extension gave us flights through the beginning of March, but thankfully today flights are now bookable until April 24, 2017.
Spring Break
Even though Spring Break dates vary widely, with today’s extension almost everyone should be able to get those Spring Break flights booked. Remember Southwest will refund you the difference if the price drops, so it is generally good to get in early for flights during peak times such as Spring Break.
Conclusion
With Southwest’s new International routes, Spring Break flights on the airline are more attractive than ever. Locking in your pricing and seats now is almost always a good idea, but don’t forget to check back later to claim your refund if the price changes.

Thanks for the reminder! Headed to Cuba with kids, but positioning flights to FLL no bargain on SWA. Booked with points and will watch for SWA sales to “rebook” if fare drops.
