Target iTunes Gift Card Deal

Happy Thanksgiving! For those among you who love to buy (and perhaps sell) iTunes gift cards, Target has a great deal you should be aware of.

The Offer

Buy 1 Get 1 30% off on iTunes e-gift cards.

REDcard for the Win!

The 30% off every other card deal works out to be 15% off each of two cards. Thankfully you can make it even better though. If you have a Target REDcard you will receive an additional 5% off. Here is how it looks.

By stacking the two discounts, you end up paying $161.50 for $200 in iTunes gift cards for example. That amounts to a 19.25% discount! Depending on who you sell cards to, this could be a nice profit. Get a REDcard here!

Another Way to Go

If for some reason you don’t have a Target REDcard, you can earn an additional 5% another way. The REDcard doesn’t earn rewards, but the Discover it card has Target as a 5% back bonus category for the 4th quarter!

This means that you will earn 5% back on up to $1,500 in purchases this quarter. If you are like me and have double cashback the first year on your card, then you can save even more!

Conclusion

While 15% is a fairly common discount on iTunes gift cards, the ability to earn an additional 5% discount or cashback makes this an attractive deal. I’m not sure if there is a transaction limit, however I’m sure some of you will put that to the test!
