CNBC Article & USA Today Vote

Hey everyone. It’s the last Friday before the big Presidential election and that means we are down to the last few days to vote for the top Miles & Points blog in the USA Today/10Best poll. I have yet to really write about it here on the blog, but I did add the banner you see above to promote the contest. Finishing among the top blogs would mean a lot to me personally and a lot to the blog. I put a lot into it day in and day out and your vote is truly appreciated.

You can vote here. Once per day. Until 11/7. I am sending good karma your way whether you vote for me or not. Seriously. Right now good karma is being sent. Do you feel it? Please vote! 🙂 Thanks!

Rewards on Holiday Shopping

Since I don’t want you to leave without any fresh content, I was recently interviewed for an article on rewards cards and holiday shopping for CNBC.com. The article went live today and I think it turned out well. You can read it here.

Thanks again for everything and have a great weekend!

    • That’s ok JR. While I work hard to create original content, I value your opinion. I still value you as a reader even though the only comments you seem to leave are negative ones. Have a great weekend and I do hope you voted for the blog that you think is #1!

  1. Shawn, you do an excellent job, as a true professional, with both new ideas and reminders about already existing opportunities. And I find your blog helpful and valuable. Just the reminders about the Staples deals is a huge boon to us all. Thank you.

  2. JR you r a very rude individual who obviously does not understand the purpose of this blog. The purpose is to bring me the viewer money saving, travel, credit card and other advice irregardless of where it comes from. Think before u post and insult someone. Thanks Shawn for taking the high road

  3. dude. ur son is growing up so fast. cant wait for his own posts and to talk about his dad… haha. MtM could be passed on to a bro/sis duo.

    • oh yea. how come your cool photo isnt in the post itself?! thats the important part. it only shows up in the blog list link home page. not when you click into the post.
