Zorkfest

As a miles/point fanatic who lives in Las Vegas, naturally the worlds of casinos and travel often meet for me. While I am not a big gambler, I hold status with numerous casino loyalty programs and often get huge benefits from that status. For example, I love my Total Rewards Diamond status from Founderscard.

While we occasionally write about casino loyalty and Vegas on this blog, it isn’t our main focus. With that said, Travelzork has been a great resource for those people like me who live in both worlds. Now the people behind Travelzork are hosting a new conference in Atlantic City called Zorkfest.

Zorkfest

Zorkfest will be held December 2, 2017 at the Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino. A Friday night reception will be held before the conference as well.

Speakers

The lineup of speakers brings a wealth of knowledge of both casinos and miles/points:

  • Seth Miller – Wandering Aramean
  • Angelina Aucello – Angelina Travels
  • Eric Rosenthal – Travel/Gaming Expert
  • Catherine Smalfus – Coachkitty

The Travelzork crew will also be there as well.

Cost

The cost of the event is $150, however if you register before November 1, 2017 then the cost is $125, but you can save even more (see below).

Registering before November 1, also gives you a chance at winning Total Rewards Diamond status for a year and they have special hotel rates that need to be booked by November 15.

Save Even More!

If you use the promo code zorkmtm then you can save an additional $10 bringing the cost down to $115.

You can register here.

  1. Shawn, it was super nice to see you in Chicago. I live in NYC, Ac is a 2 hour drive for me. I would super appreciate if I can get a free tix for the zorkfest.

My casino status match started in hyatt goldpassport, by holding the hyatt card, I was plat, match to mlife gold (later reverse match back to explorist), match to Borgata Black Label match to TR diamond. I’m working on Wyndham too.

  2. Looking forward to this! Hoping me maximize my knowledge of earning points/miles, while learning about comped hotel rooms.

  3. Sounds like a great and innovative program. I would love to learn about maximizing comps through casino play and to learn more about how different casinos rate my play.

  4. I’m looking forward to an event like this because it will truly provide unique information to travel/Vegas/casino enthusiasts like me!

  5. Thanks for posting this Shawn. As an NJ native, I’ve spent my fair share of time at the tables in AC, but never really worked those loyalty programs to the extent that I have with CCs and travel hacking. Looking forward to seeing those two worlds collide, and learning how to maximize my casino comp return.

  6. I’m looking forward to understanding the best way to maximize casino loyalty! I just became TRdiamond due to Mlife status match!

  7. hi, am am quite new to the poins even though I am happy to report that we were able to obtain several great airlines tickets thanks to your advice. I would love to learn how to use points for hotel stay and take my parents for a trip that way.

  8. Thanks for the giveaway. i travel to Vegas once or twice a year and have matched Hyatt to MGM to Total Rewards. So, I’d like to learn the differences between the typical points/miles activities, those I’ve utilized so far, and those dealing specifically with the casinos, and how best to parlay those differences into meaningful benefits.

  9. I would like to attend to learn some more about the casino loyalty programs and the once from hotels and how to best use points to get maximum value.

  10. Really looking forward to win the ticket, to learn all the awesome deals from both side casino / miles and points, and we have the big group that will follow us afterward. Hope to hear from you very soon.

  11. I was in Vegas just last week. Spent 3 weeks looking for a 4 stars hotel at a decent price. My only way of researching is to keep checking for lower price. Also new to this game. Sort of get the opening the max credit cards bonus but I don’t know how to use them to the max. Hope this event can teach me how get some elite status and point redemption strategy.

  12. Im looking forward to meeting great people and learning about using the Total Rewards program. I’ve learned a lot about casino rewards program in my own independent research but never have quite applied it as aggresively as I have done credit cards.

I would love to attend thia conference!

  13. – Shawn, your advice has always been spot-on and helped me enjoy and “prosper” from this hobby. Thank you!
    – The panel sounds like a perfect mix (casino and travel loyalty program advice). And I’ve never met an Aramean.
    – I’m kinda curious to see and meet others who are into this.
    – AC in early December, it’s well…quiet (in other words, comp rooms are available).

  14. I look forward to learning how to get the most benefit out of casino and hotel loyalty systems, as well as how to get the most value for credit card point redemption.

  15. I am looking forward to learn more about travel adventures, as there are unlimited opportunities on what you can do with your miles and points.
