American Express was offering eligible existing Marriott Bonvoy™ Card Members (formerly the Starwood Preferred Guest Card) an opportunity to earn up to 100,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points via an exclusive spend offer. The registration period expired, but it has now been extended again.

To ensure that eligible Card Members who want to register for the offer can do so, they have extended the registration period through May 31, 2019.

The Offer

Here’s how it works:

• Eligible Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express Card Members must register for the offer by May 31, 2019
• Registered Card Members will be eligible to earn 25,000 points for every $25,000 in eligible purchases on the Card (up to 100,000 points)
• The offer is valid through December 31, 2019

Conclusion

This promotion gives you an extra points per dollar on your spending with the Marriott Bonvoy™ Card. Not a huge added bonus, but if you’re going for the Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status with $35K spend, then might as well register for the extra points.
