100K Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Offer Extended

Yesterday I wrote an article talking about two 100K plus offers that were ending this week.  The Chase IHG Rewards Club Premier Credit Card’s offer ends sometime this afternoon. The Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless was scheduled to end sometime tomorrow.  But Chase has once again extended the offer for the Boundless card, this time until 5/15/19. This gives you a little more time to make a decision on the card if you were debating on whether or not to grab it before the offer drops.

Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card Details

The card’s welcome offer is as follows:

  • Earn 100,000 points after spending $5,000 within the first 3 months of card membership.
  • The $95 annual fee is not waived.
  • Learn More

The card’s earning structure and benefits are as follows:

  • 6X Marriott Bonvoy points on eligible purchases at participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels.
  • 2X Marriott Bonvoy points on all other eligible purchases.
  • 1 Free Night Award every year after your Card account anniversary. Award can be used for one night (redemption level at or under 35,000 Marriott Bonvoy points) at a participating hotel.
  • Enjoy complimentary Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite status with your Card.
  • Earn Gold status after spending $35,000 (beginning in 2019)
  • 15 elite night credits beginning in 2019 (limited to once per member each year, not once per card)
  • Free in-room premium Wi-Fi (beginning in August)
  • No Foreign Transaction Fees
  • Learn More

The offer will most likely drop back down to the old level of 75,000 points on 5/16. There are many terms surrounding this offer so be sure that you check all of the boxes before applying.

Eligibility for the new cardmember bonus: The welcome offer is not available to you if you:

  • are a current cardmember, or were a previous cardmember within the last 30 days, of Marriott BonvoyTM American Express® Card (also known as The Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express);

Conclusion

Anytime a 100K offer sticks around it is a good thing.  Even if I am not a Marriott fan I can see the value in this offer.  Many people keep the card long term because they get more value out of the anniversary night than the $95 annual fee.

    • I do think they have a target to hit and it is taking a lot longer than they expected. I think it is more no one can get the card versus no one wanting it – way to many rules restricting applications imo.
