American Express has a new (highly) targeted Amex Offer for Saks Fifth Avenue which can be profitable especially when combined with in-store cashback from Ebates or cashback through a portal. I have found it on one card so far, fingers crossed it will be more widely available over the next few days. Despite all the bad news with Amex Offers lately, department store deals are always welcome. The terms exclude e-gift card purchases.

If you get the offer on your Platinum Card be sure to pair it with the $50 statement credit for massive savings!!!

The Offer

Get $50 statement credit one time by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $250 or more in 1 or more eligible transactions in-store at Saks Fifth Avenue or online at saks.com by 1/14/2019.

Key Terms

  • Not valid at outlet locations (in-store and online).
  • Excludes restaurants located within the store and Online Bill Pay for Saks Credit.

Conclusion

This could be a profitable offer if you have it on your cards. The Amex Offer gives you a 20% discount and it doesn’t seem physical gift card purchases are excluded. You can resell them for a profit plus you can get 2% cashback in-store from Ebates if you have any locations nearby.
