American Airlines AAdvantage – Double Miles to Asia

American Airlines has just released the details of a double miles promotions for flights to Asia. Through March 20, 2015 you can earn double AAdvantage miles on nonstop flights between the North America and Asia on American and their OneWorld partners.

Available Routes

AAdvantage double miles Asia

Between: San Francisco (SFO) & Tokyo Haneda (HND)

Between: Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) & Seoul (ICN)

Between: Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) & Hong Kong (HKG)

You can also earn double miles on select routes in Asia when flying on Japan Airlines.

To get this offer, you must register with the promotion code ASIA3 and of course book a ticket and travel before March 20, 2015. You can register for the offer and find the full terms here.

While I don’t typically pay for my flights to Asia, this is a good deal for people who will be flying these routes or for people who have a need for regional Asia flights on Japan Airlines.

  1. Looking at the terms it seems that economy Q fares are not covered…is that right? Do Q fares earn normal mileage at least?
