Access Centurion Lounges Using Facial Recognition

Centurion Lounges are a great way to relax at airports. Many readers probably have access thanks to their American Express Platinum cards. But how do you access the lounges if you forgot your card? That’s what a new facial recognition option is hoping to address.

Doctor of Credit reports that “check-in agents at the Centurion Lounge at DFW have been telling customers that facial recognition is being rolled out and that will soon be an option when accessing the lounge.”

This will be optional. So you do not have to use it if you do not prefer to have that type of information saved in their database. You can still access the lounge the old fashioned way, by showing your American Express Platinum card.

Conclusion

Looks like you need to register for this new option, if you want to use it. That is once it actually becomes available. If you are registered that you don’t have to worry about bringing your Amex Platinum card along.
