Analysis

In my opinion the Airbnb cards for 20% are the true winner in this sale. Other than a low quantity Amazon sale or two, I don’t think they have been offered at this discount before. Unfortunately a resale market doesn’t really exist for them so you would be buying them to get 20% off your own stays. (Actually ~21.84% if you go through BeFrugal for 2.3% cashback.)

GiftCardMall is of course a pain to deal with since they randomly lock people out of their accounts and otherwise cancel orders for no known reason. They are a bit easier when it comes to merchant gift cards compared to Visas, but be prepared for some pains.

Conclusion

It’s always nice to get nice discounts while sitting at home as opposed to going into the store and dealing with the pain of long lines and slow cashiers. In this case the portal cashback is a side benefit as well. For ~22% off Airbnb I am seriously considering picking up a few cards. How about you?
