Amazon Prime Day Sneak Peak

Last week ago I wrote about Amazon’s Prime Day, an event the company is touting as “Bigger Than Black Friday”. Since then not much has leaked out about what exactly will be for sale, but there has been a lot of speculation. Fortunately with the big event happening tomorrow, BGR has a list of many of the items that will be for sale.

As a reminder, you do need to be an Amazon Prime member to participate in the sale, although you can get a 30 day free trial (referral link) and still be eligible.

What Is For Sale

BGR is continuing to update their list. Here is some of what they are reporting will be on sale tomorrow.

Possible Portals & Supporting the Site

All of the above links are Miles to Memories affiliate links. I personally went through and found the products. If you are planning on shopping at Amazon tomorrow then using our links above or our direct link is a great way to support the site. If not, then you can copy and paste any item description directly into Amazon.

Remember if you are purchasing anything in the Shoes, Handbags, Wallets, Beauty & Grooming, Baby or Amazon Local categories you can get an additional 6% back from Top Cashback. Amazon doesn’t pay through portals in any other categories.

Analysis & More

I don’t see a ton of crazy deals on this list, but I’ll be keeping an eye on the Amazon.com gift card multipack. If you are in the market for an Amazon product (Kindle) then tomorrow will probably be a good day to buy. Products like the 40″ TV for $115 will be very limited in quantity and will be tough to snag. That doesn’t mean the whole thing won’t be a lot of fun, but make sure to compare prices. Just because they are on “sale” doesn’t mean it is a great deal.

Throughout the day tomorrow I will keep a close eye on things and will report any great deals I find either here or over at Frequent Miler’s Quick Deals. Keep in mind that the sale goes live tonight/tomorrow at Midnight Pacific so the deals will be rolling in fairly quickly.

  1. Walmart making punches. Just got an E-Mail.

“Celebrate summer with low prices – not sales” + “NO ONE DAY SALES HERE! JUST SAVINGS EVERY DAY!”

Looking for the nut shot in a later E-Mail.

Maybe it will say “BETTER THAN PRIME DAY GARAGE SALE. SORRY, GRANNY PANTIES NOT SOLD HERE.”

  2. Just a reminder for anyone still reading this post and didnt buy everything at Walmart yet – to use your Discover CC 5% CashBack for Amazon.

Also there are YMMV areas to get more AMZ savings:
10-off-10 on amazon with discover card first time cashback point users
15-off-50 on amazon with amex membership rewards points

    You can google it.

  3. Dude. you guys –> Spend $75 on Select Health & Personal Care Products and Receive a Free $25 Amazon Gift Card

    SO WORTH IT!

    • TEAM NO SLEEP –> Thanks for choosing No-Rush Shipping – We’ll automatically apply a $5 Home Improvement, Lawn & Garden, Power & Hand Tools, Sports & Outdoors, and Pet Supplies credit to your account when this order ships. Offer redemption requires customers to be in the U.S.

So I just selected slower shipping. Gave me $5 in select categories which I actually shop at.

      FYI.

  4. Hey Sean. About your Amazon Link. So if I use the direct link, I can just buy whatever I want right? Doesnt matter the category? Because TCB is only additional 6% back from Shoes, Handbags, Wallets, Beauty & Grooming, Baby or Amazon Local categories. Just wanna double check so I support this site.

  5. Oh Shawn, wanted to get your opion on resale strategy here. Do you think its a good opportunity? Especially if you buy Amazon GC cheap on eBay or at other locations like grocery stores + office supply. Even better, “Prime Time” use of your Discover CC for some cray cray savings + Amazon Black Friday deals. Wanted to get your input before I buy like $10k in merchandise.
