Not a ton of info on what the person was doing or why they didn’t properly fill out the forms.  It is notoriously difficult to get your seized cash back even if you were not doing any illegal activities.  Best to not fly with it if you can avoid it.  Put it in your SoFi Money account instead 😉😂.  Although most seized cash is from illegal activity.
