I have had a similar experience with Hilton Gold vs Diamond.  It doesn’t seem to be a huge difference although I do love those Diamond parking spots at Hampton Inns lol.  I am coming up on a similar decision on my Aspire card in a few months as well.  As you know I love the card but I am not sure if I will use the resort credit next year which is make or break on the card’s value in my opinion.  I may downgrade to the Ascend, which I also love, and await a compelling Aspire upgrade offer.  Time will tell.

This is probably the dumbest thing I have read in a while, Amazon is crazy!  And what is with these companies thinking they can just keep your gift card balances.  How dishonest is that?
