American Express Aspire Spending Offer – 40,000 Hilton Honors Points!
There is a amazing new American Express Aspire spending offer that is being sent out to targeted(?) card holders. It can net you an extra 40,000 points. The Aspire card is already hands down the best premium card out there and Amex is being even more generous with it!
UPDATE: It looks like people are getting this offer on their Ascend and no fee Hilton cards as well.

The terms of the offer are as follows:
My wife received the offer as well as PDX Deals Guy. My wife is still working on her upgrade offer so I assume this should work as a double dip with the minimum spend she still has left. Fingers crossed at least! I did not get an email for my account….not yet at least :).
Conclusion
A lot of banks have been putting out terrible spending offers lately but not American Express. 20,000 Hilton points are worth around $100 to me. That is a 5% return on top of whatever I would normally get for using the card (1.5% and up). I am very excited about this offer and I hope to see one come through for my account as well.

I wonder how they determine offers. I have spent almost $40k this year on my Ascend. I need to upgrade to Aspire but I keep holding out hoping they would offer the bonus points for me to upgrade. I havent gotten either one of these Hilton bonus offers either. I’ve not gotten 1 offer in over 2 years since I signed up.
I wish I knew. If you don’t see an upgrade offer for the Aspire why not just sign up for it to ensure you get the bonus versus upgrading and missing out on getting extra points?
My wife and I each recieved a $2K/20K offer for our Aspire card. We each have 3 different Hilton cards. Anyone get more than one offer?

Got the offer, only put Hilton spend (a few thousand) on it. It’s the aspire, so I’ve only had it for a few months.
I got the offer on my Aspire. I’ve only been putting around $200 in dining a month since meeting the 4k minimum spend for the 100k. Nice to get since I missed out on the 150k offer!
Husband got it on the Ascend. We have been spending to get the $15K free night so now Ascend will get $3500 in spend I was not intending it to get. I hope I get it on the Aspire also.
I f you post you got the offer, mention how often you use the card or not. I put $5000 a month on mine and i never get any offers, emails ever.
We have put 20K on my wife’s card so far this year and she is working on the upgrade offer so I have no idea how they decide.

It has better categories – grocery and gas are two easy ways to rack up spend and points
