American Express and Carnival cruises are teaming up to offer cardmembers a nice savings on a Carnival Cruise line cruise.

The Offer

Get 7,500 additional Membership Rewards points (or $75 depending on which card you use) one-time by using your enrolled Card to make a Carnival Cruise Line reservation purchase of $350+ at carnival.com or at 1-800-764-7419 by 8/19/2019.

Analysis

This is a great deal to save on a cruise, especially if you have it on multiple cards (or AU cards) and are able to split up your payment. Carnival Cruise Line gets a bad rap, but I’ve been on their ships and they aren’t bad if you know what to expect with the ship and itinerary you choose. I personally prefer other lines, but wouldn’t hesitate to use this, especially if you can use more than one of the offers.

Conclusion

It seems that cruises are either something people love or something they hate. It certainly isn’t my only way to travel, but I really love going on cruises. It’s a fun and different experience and one I look forward to having again.

  2. Can I ask which Amex cards offer the MR points instead of the cash rebate card? I have the amex plat and typically only see cash rebate promos
