One of the better no annual fee cards in my opinion is the Chase Freedom. I highly value Ultimate Rewards points and the Freedom comes with no annual fee and allows me to earn 5X points in rotating categories each quarter on up to $1,500 in spend. For example, in this quarter (July – September) I am earning 5X points at Gas Stations, Lyft and Walgreens. Hopefully most of you have already maximized the spending for this quarter, or are well on your way to complete it.

Now, there’s information on which categories will earn 5X in the fourth quarter of 2018.

October– December, 2018

  • Wholesale clubs
  • Department stores
  • Chase Pay

Conclusion

A good offer this upcoming quarter. Chase Pay and Wholesale Clubs should help to maximize earnings. Wholesale Clubs are also part of Discover’s quarterly bonus.
