CitiBusiness AAdvantage Increased Credit Card Offer

CitiBusiness AAdvantage Increased Credit Card Offer – 70,000 Miles!

The CitiBusiness AAdvantage credit card has an increased public offer that is pretty darn good.  The increased welcome offer matches an offer from earlier this year: 70,000 American Airlines miles.  It is now one of the best offers out there!

CitiBusiness AAdvantage Increased Credit Card Offer Details

The increased welcome offer is as follows:
  • 70,000 American Airlines miles after spending $4,000 within the first 4 months of card membership.
  • The $99 annual fee IS waived the first year.
Remember that Citi has a 48 month application rule:

American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months.

CitiBusiness AAdvantage Credit Card Perks

The CitiBusiness AAdvantage credit card comes with a lot of perks for American Airlines flyers, they are as follows:

CitiBusiness AAdvantage Earning Structure

The CitiBusiness AAdvantage credit card earning structure is as follows:

  • 2X AAdvantage miles per $1 spent on American Airlines purchases.
  • 2X AAdvantage miles per $1 spent on purchases at telecommunications merchants, cable and satellite providers, car rental merchants and at gas stations.
  • 1X on everything else.

Another Increased Offer Is Still Available

There is another offer still floating around out there that some may find more appealing.  It is for 75,000 American Airlines miles after $5,000 in spend within 4 months. Here is a direct link to it.

I personally think the 70,000 miles for $4,000 in spend offer is better.  I don’t think 5,000 miles are worth an additional $1,000 in spend.  But people that have a lot of business expenses may find that to be the better option.

Final Thoughts

The CitiBusiness AAdvantage increased credit card offer is a pretty great offer and one that I snatched up back at the beginning of the year.  If you had your eyes on it then now may be the time to pounce.  The card offers some pretty good perks and a decent earning structure for spend outside American Airlines purchases.  That is assuming you don’t have a Chase Ink Preferred or Chase Ink Cash for telecommunication, cable and satellite purchases.

Remember that the CitiBusiness AAdvantage card is the only card that still codes as a bonus for PayPal Digital Gifts purchases.
