How to Maximize

These deals are great if you are looking to meet a minimum spend on a particular card. If not, use are card that earns at least 2% back on the purchase like the Capital One Venture or the Citi Double Cash card.

Depending on your bulk relationships, you might be able to sell these cards for a small profit as well and don’t forget Executive members receive 2% back from Costco on all purchases including gift cards.

Conclusion

These Costco iTunes discount deals come around fairly often and they represent a good way to make some points or hit minimum spend if you have a gift card selling bulk relationship. If not, 15% is about as good as it gets for a discount on iTunes purchases as well.

  1. Thanks for the news. Ok, can we talk about , “depends on your bulk relationships” here?

Or are we still operating under TPM rules, where we could lose that relationship if we dare comment on which “bulk relationship” offers what….? (and assuming they even permit you to sell itunes) Anybody wanna go first?

    • I sell all of my own cards so I’m not keeping any secrets. I also will not mention specific bulk sellers here because I don’t want to be seen as endorsing anyone. My statement is just a fact not something designed to conceal information from readers.

      • Thanks Shawn for the reply — even though I posted the comment inadvertently to an old thread. Good for you that you’re able to sell your cards apparently without a bulk seller intermediary. (?) As for just being factual, your post DID mention bulk re-sellers…. What’s been eating at many of us since the demise of TPM is the lack of candid discussions anywhere….. (and kudos again to you for being the outlet that at saved many of us from losing even more amid the insidious TPM debacle) Any suggestions on outlets that are willing to discuss what’s happening at various bulkseller outlets?

        • ps, your choice of course, yet I don’t follow the apparent reasoning here (and elsewhere) about not even mentioning bulkseller outlets by name…. Opening up discussions about who is offering what — that doesn’t have to arise to the level of pumping any one platform over another…. Curious the code of silence that seems to be afoot.
