Conclusion
The domestic deals are pretty good if you had planned travel on any of those routes. I recently booked a roundtrip flight to Denver for 12,000 Skymiles netting me over 2 cents a piece. There is value in the program if you look and it is better for domestic travel than most people think.
The Latin America/Caribbean deals are not the best.
