PayPal Digital Gifts has been on fire lately with gift card discounts and they have come through once again today with a new round of decent cards. Let’s take a look.

PayPal Digital Gifts & 5X

Once again PayPal Digital Gifts is having a sale on gift cards today. Purchasing these cards should generate 5X Ultimate Rewards points if you pay with a Chase Ink Plus/Cash card through PayPal.

  • $50 Domino’s Pizza Gift Card & get bonus $10 Gamestop Code for $50
  • $50 Gamestop Gift Card & get bonus $10 Domino’s Code for $50

No eBay Bucks or Portals

In the past, you would be able to also earn portal cashback and eBay Bucks while purchasing gift cards. Unfortunately those avenues have dried up. Most/All portals no longer pay out in the gift cards category and eBay Bucks are no longer earned when purchasing them. The discount you receive off of face value plus the credit card rewards you earn are it.

Selling the Cards

Depending on who you sell to, Overstock, iTunes, Domino’s and Gamestop may all be profitable opportunities. Of course some of these discounts are as good as we see for these brands, so it might not be a bad idea to purchase cards to simply use yourself.

10% eBay Bucks

eBay is also targeting certain customers with an offer to earn 10% in eBay Bucks today. Gift cards do not qualify, but most other deals do. 

Conclusion

Any time you can get a discount off of face value and earn 5X points, then it is worth a look. Today there are some decent deals and decent brands on sale. Hopefully you’ll find something worth buying!
