eBay Gift Card Deal & Referral Credit

As part of eBay’s Daily Deals, Paypal Digital Gifts is selling $100 eBay gift cards for $95. As I mentioned in the post Get 5x at eBay All Day, purchases from Paypal Digital Gifts have been earning 5x Ultimate Rewards when you use a Chase Ink card to pay through Paypal.

Several portals also pay cashback for purchases at eBay, although they tend to exclude eBay gift cards in their terms. I did personally earn 1.5% from Top Cashback when purchasing an eBay gift card through this seller last week and others have said that Ebates is working as well. (They are currently paying 1%.)

As a disclaimer some people have reported not earning cashback through Top Cashback and at least one person has claimed that they did not earn 5x Ultimate Rewards with their Chase Ink card recently. I have both received cash back and earned 5x within the past five days, so YMMV.

eBay Daily Deals Referral

If you are an expert at purchasing these eBay Daily Deals then you may be able to earn a few extra dollars by referring your friends to them. I received an email from eBay today offering up to $15 for referring people to their Daily Deals through April 30. ($5 per person referred up to $15 total.)

It doesn’t look to me like this email is targeted, but I am not 100% sure. To get your referral link or invite people via email, simply click here and you should be prompted to login. After logging in you should see the referral information. If you have never bought a daily deal, you can use my referral link, but feel under no obligation to do so.

Conclusion

If you are interested in gift card deals like this one, the quickest way to find out about them is to subscribe to Frequent Miler’s Quick Deals. I write a lot of the Quick Deals and they are a great way to find out about hot deals as soon as I do.

I have been earning quite a few Ultimate Rewards points over the past few months with deals similar to this one. The basic process is to buy eBay gift cards at a discount and then use them to purchase other gift cards when a sale is on. So far so good. Enjoy!
