Key Terms

  • Expires 1/30/2018 at 2:00PM EST, or while supplies last (they probbaly won’t)
  • All CardCash promotions are valid until the expiration date written on the email.
  • Most promotions are not yet available on the app.
  • Maximum $3,000 per customer

45 Day Guarantee Only!

CardCash only guarantees their cards for 45 days. From time to time cards purchased from CardCash do go bad. They have always done a good job of guaranteeing cards within the 45 day window, however I would not buy a card unless you have an immediate use.

Conclusion

This is a good deal, TJ Maxx cards are rarely discounted. Only purchase if you have a use within 45 days though. In case you haven’t been paying attention lately, you no longer earn 5X with Chase Ink cards through PayPal. Read Mark’s post for a few options to still earn 3X or 5X at CardCash and other gift card resellers.

Just keep their guarantee policy in mind and you should be fine.

    • We warn against the issues with CardCash – they have a 45 day guarantee. If you plan to use it during that time you are fine. If not you run a risk. We clearly explain that. I have never had an issue getting a credit when there has been an issue inside that window. Don’t buy cards from them speculatively and you will be fine.

  1. The problem with saying that EVERY post “may” contain affiliate marketing is that it leaves the reader prone to being suspicious of every post you make. Clearly this CardCash/MtM relationship is affiliate marketing gone wrong, but I have no clue how deep the rot runs. Ask yourself why MtM has the “exclusive” on this “deal.” Is it for the right reasons or the wrong ones?

Did Shawn sell this site off? If he’s still related, he should look at DoC’s disclosure policies. Best in class. I guess it’s hard to compete with a blog that is less profit-seeking. I get that.

    • This was from an email that came directly from CardCash to my personal email as a CardCash member. Everyone got the same email. This isn’t a “special deal”. Go to CardCash’s site and see for yourself. We warned about the pitfalls and were just alerting people to the deal. A lot of people value TJ Maxx and a 13% off sale is unheard of. Have you noticed their gift cards never go on sale.

Good to see you are alive and kicking as always STVR…..

    • The only rot I see is with your comment. Today we published 7 posts. Only 1 of them had an affiliate link in the content. In this post we clearly label the downfalls and I have personally bought about $15K worth of cards from CardCash in the past year. As Mark said we had no special deal with CardCash and covered this after receiving the standard customer email.

I believe you know as a long time reader and a long time commenter of less than kind words, we always try to do right by our readers which is why we clearly emphasize their guarantee and why people should only buy for immediate use. We care a ton about the readership and their trust. I want anyone who sees your comments to understand that.

Thanks as always for your comments Stvr.
