  1. I got this offer…I am a little confused as it states: Qualifying, eligible flights must be operated by American Airlines or marketed by American Airlines, American Eagle® service, British Airways, Finnair, Iberia and Japan Airlines. Flights marketed and/or operated by codeshare partners not listed above aren’t eligible for this promotion. Bonus EQDs and EQMs don’t count toward this offer. Does this mean if I fly Finnair and purchased the ticket through Finnair that these flights count towards this challenge? Does “Bonus” EQDs and EQMs mean the extra class of service EQMs do not count towards the challenge, or is this referring to some other sort of EQM bump?

  2. I got an offer to upgrade to Gold status only. They are giving me 10 500 mile upgrades. Nothing for Platinum so do you have any suggestions?

  3. @Derek the 500 mile stickers don’t expire like the offer does. I’ve earned them like this in the past and they remain even if you don’t meet the qualifications but you do have to have at least AA Gold to use them in the future.

  4. When do the 20 500-mile upgrades expire? I didn’t see that stated and if it also expires by January it may not be advantageous for some.
