FSA: Maximize Offers and Stack Deals For Awesome Discounts
There are so many stackable deals on stores with FSA eligible items. CVS is even running a big promotional sale on their FSA department right now. You only have a few more days until you lose the money left over in your account. Use these tricks and savings to get the most back for your buck. For more general info and other awesome ideas, check out Mark’s post on the topic earlier this year. Also, just because a store is on the list doesn’t necessarily mean it’s FSA eligible, it’ll depend on your specific situation.
Money Saving Ideas
Below are 3 different categories of deals and additional stacking tips for each. Happy Savings!
ContactsDirect.com Stack Amex Offer for $30 off $150 with promo code for $15 off $150 and 16% cashback from befrugal.com.
Glasses.com– Stack Amex offer for $30 off purchase of $150 with 18% cashback from befrugral for more than 38% off! Sells prescriptions glasses
Sam’s Club– 5x on Sam’s Club purchases up to $1500, there’s also a targeted offer for $15 off $30 on Sam’s Club.com
GNC.com– Spend $50 or more, get $10 back
Healthy Back– Spend $100 or more, get $20 back
PuritansPride.com– Spend $30+, get 1,000 Membership Rewards Points
Life Extension Vitamins and Supplements– Spend $125 or more, get $25 back
I only found one chase offer that seemed to apply, it was $20 back on a $95 purchase at Warby Parker, which sells RX glasses. You can stack this with 10% from a portal and a $5 coupon code.
Discount Gift Cards
Right now, there are discounted gift cards available for Walgreen’s, Rite Aid and CVS. Rite Aid represents the best discount at 13%, Walgreen’s is about 9% and CVS is around 5%. Also remember that each of these stores has a loyalty program, so you’re basically getting free rewards. If you shop online, don’t forget to stack with a portal for between 6% and 8%.
5% Cash Back Cards
If you haven’t maxed out your 5% categories this year, you might as well use them for your last few FSA purchases. There are many Target’s and Walmart’s with pharmacies. Even in general, Amazon, Target and Walmart all carry many eligible items.
You only have until December 31, 2017 to use your FSA dollars, get out there and make some money!
