IHG Cardmember Discount, 15% Off Points+Cash Bookings Till 2/12

IHG credit cardmembers can get a 15% discount on Points+Cash Bookings thanks to a new offer that is available till February 10th, 2018 for stays through March 2, 2018.  The discount will apply to the cash part of the booking. This is the same offer they has around the same time last year.

Key Terms

  • Must book by 2/10/18
  • Stay dates include 1/10/2018-3/2/2018
  • 15% discount is offered at time of booking and only pertains to the cash cost of bookings
  • The Venetian and The Palazzo hotels are excluded from discounts
  • Must be an IHG Rewards Club Credit Cardmember at the time of booking

Conclusion

We have seen 25% discount in the past, but 15% is still pretty decent.

Points+Cash bookings are a good way to stretch your points. This offer also stacks with the automatic 10% point rebate on redemptions that all IHG Rewards Club Select Credit Card receive. You don’t need to use the card for your booking though, you just need to have it.

Points+Cash bookings are also an option for purchasing points and during this promotion, you can get them at less than half a cent. The point purchase option won’t always make sense, but could be useful if you need some extra points of to take advantage of PointBreaks stays that cost just 5,000 points a night.

  1. My IHG credit card was originally not added to my IHG account. But I just added it to my IHG account and I still don’t see the 15% discount on the cash portion. Is anyone having the same problem?
