Two Marriott Offers from American Express

American Express has two offers for Marriott fans. One is an Amex Offer that can save you $100 and the other a transfer bonus that will get you an extra 30% Marriott Bonvoy points. Let’s take a look.

Marriott Amex Offer

Get a one-time $100 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $500+ USD on room rate/room charges at EDITION®, The Ritz-Carlton®, The Luxury Collection, St. Regis®, W® Hotels & JW Marriott® from 9/5/2019 to 12/31/2019.

  • Offer valid only at participating Marriott Bonvoy™ properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Amex Transfer Bonus to Marriott

American Express has a transfer bonus that gets you 30% more Marriott Bonvoy points when you transfer Membership Rewards points. The regular transfer rate is 1000 Membership Rewards points = 1000 Marriott points. So with this promotion you can either get as much as 1000 Membership Rewards points = 1300 Marriott points. Maybe not the best use of Amex points, but could be worth it in some instances. You can transfer Marriott points to Turkish Miles & Smiles for example.
