I was hoping for a decent offer so we could keep the card open and make Amex happy. Keeping my wife out of the pop up purgatory that I am in was key. I also considered downgrading to the Gold or the potentially revamped Green card if an offer didn’t come.
I finally got the mark of the extra search on my way back from Amsterdam. Overall it wasn’t too bad. The secondary screening at the regular security was more annoying.
Yikes, this is an experience I never want to have while traveling.
First Safeway and now Kroger. These scams are getting more and more sophisticated but this one takes the cake so far. And Kroger’s response to the situation was less than stellar.
