One of quite a few posts from Oren today about reselling deals available on eBay with the 5X eBay Bucks promotion. Even if you don’t plan on reselling it is always a good idea to take a look at the thought process behind finding deals like this.
Safeway: Free $50 Visa Prepaid with $250 Gift Card Purchase, 9/16-9/29
This would be a killer deal if I could verify which stores are participating. I checked Safeways in several areas along with Vons and Albertson’s and couldn’t find it in any ad. It would have been a Quick Deal, but I just think it is highly regional. Still, it is probably worth checking your local ad to see if your Safeway is participating.

This property has been closed for a long time following last year’s hurricane. I know a lot of people are waiting to book and it appears they opened to guests for the first time today. As a reminder this property costs 20,000 points per night for the first two people in a room!
Amtrak Guest Rewards credit card review
I’m not going to lie. I really didn’t think that the BofA Amtrak cards would be worth even a single look. I was wrong. As Frequent Miler points out, the bonuses are actually quite decent dollar value wise and there is even a case to be made towards spending your way towards elite status.

One Year Xbox Live Gold $30
Full price for this is $60, but I often see deals around $40. In the past I would have considered $35 a great deal, so I think $30 is a steal. I know this isn’t for everyone, but my son loves his Xbox Live, so it is something that we purchase every year. I haven’t heard of this merchant before, but people in this Slickdeals thread seem to have had good experiences with getting the code right away.

I just received an email from United offering 4 miles per dollar at ebay. It does say it cannot be combined with other offer. So i wonder if I still get 5x ebay bucks. But i value United miles at 2 cents each. So I already get 8% back.
