Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach!
Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach!

Happy 4th of July! I am spending the night at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa. It was a last minute decision and a fantastic value on points! Since I feel so good about the value I received, I thought, why not a giveaway?

This wasn’t thought out or planned, so how about this. Leave a comment by noon Pacific tomorrow (to give those partiers a chance) and I’ll enter you to win a $33 Amazon gift card. Simple and easy. Every comment receives 1 entry and each person/IP address can only receive one entry. The winner will be chosen at random and I am the final judge as to eligibility.

Have a fantastic night and happy Independence Day!

  1. Most people don’t realize how much work it takes to run a blog. I tried for a few months and gave up.
Kudos to you for being able to do that. (Envious of you)
    Thanks for the generous giveaway!
    Who doesn’t love amazon!?!

  2. Huntington Beach property was a great stay for us last winter. It was warm and a quick getaway from the east coast snow. Can’t wait to head back

  3. I went to that resort a few months ago I loved it. There’s a hole in the wall Hawaiian Poke joint near by you gotta get some poke if you like raw fish. We plan to go back to that Hyatt next year.

  4. Reading a day late–and hopefully not $33 short; thanks for the opportunity. Spent the weekend in Florida—much better than MD. this year.

  5. Hopefully the California drought and strict firework rule in many counties did not put a damper on your fireworks display. Per the luxurious resort in Palms Springs, save water and shower with a friend.

  6. Happy 4th Shawn, just getting back from an amazing day up in Marblehead, MA. We came mainly to see a nearby fireworks display, and it turned into quite the magical day. Some memories were definitely created from making the drive up, and taking part in all the activities . So much so that the fireworks became the cherry on top as opposed to the main reason to come…

  7. Happy Saturday and Sunday …been on MS for 2years, but the only one I feed I bring to email and rest to feedly .. So special

  8. Hi Shawn,

Enjoy the 4th at the pier in HB. I’m down the road from you in Laguna B. I can find at least 33 ways to spend $33 at Amazon!

    Thanks for all your writing,

    Mark

  9. Happy 4th from Philadelphia, went walking around the old homes in Society Hill today and got a nice sense of history. First time celebrating the holiday here and may do so again!

  10. I don’t think my comment posted for whatever reason. I said:

I’m in SoCal but have to work today. Blah. Anyway, enjoy the beach, and Happy Fourth!
