Here are the fares for two people flying roundtrip between the two cities:

For single travelers the fares are as follows:

• Economy Class from $449
• Business Class from $2,499
• First Class from $5,999

Key Terms

• The quoted fares are the lowest fare to Milan (MXP) from New York (JFK). Sale fares are applicable to Emirates operated flights only (no codeshares apply).
• Flights to Milan are via New York (JFK) departure only.
• Companion fares to Milan (MXP) are applicable for two (2) passengers, traveling round trip together on the same itinerary in the same booking record (PNR) utilizing scheduled Emirates non-stop transatlantic services (EK205, EK206) from New York (JFK) to Milan (MXP).
• Savings shall only be applicable to roundtrip single traveler and companion Economy Class, Business Class and First Class tickets purchased from August 21, 2017, 00:01 (EST) through August 24, 2017, 23:59 (EST)

Need to Know

• Advance purchase requirement: 7 days in advance
• Travel period: September 17, 2017 through December 18, 2017 or December 25, 2017 through March 30, 2018 or April 9, 2018 through May 15, 2018 Travel must be completed on or before June 30, 2018.
• Minimum stay: 7 days
• Maximum stay: 6 months

Analysis

While $400 each for two people or $449 for one isn’t the absolute cheapest fare you will ever seen for a Transatlantic flight, it still represents a great value when considering that Emirates is a top notch airline.
