Target REDcard Signup Bonus
A Target REDcard earns you a 5% discount on Target purchases. It is a useful card to have if you often shop at their stores or on their website. REDcard also get you free shipping for online orders and an extended return period. While neither the debit nor the credit REDcard normally offer any sort of bonus, Target is now offering a little nugget for getting either of these cards. Let’s take a look.
Apply for Target Red Debit or Credit Card before March 16, 2019 & Get $25 Off a Future Qualifying Purchase of $100+ (Exclusions Apply).
- Get a coupon for $25 off a $100 qualifying purchase when you are approved for a debit or credit REDcard in-stores and Target.com before March 16th.
- The coupon will be mailed to approved cardholders with their REDcard and will be valid through 4/14/19. These coupons may even work once in store and once on line.
- Excludes alcohol, Apple products, Bose, CVS clinic & pharmacy, DSLR cameras & lenses, Elf on the Shelf, gift cards, Google products, GoPro, LEGO, LG OLED TV, mobile contracts, prepaid cards, Sonos, Target Optical, Tylenol pain relief, and Weber. To qualify for coupon discount, the total must not include excluded products.
I personally have the REDcard debit card and use it occasionally for the 5% discount. The debit card doesn’t require a hard pull, but the credit card does so I would take that into consideration. For those who shop at Target often, the 5% savings can definitely be worth it and it’s also nice to get that $25 discount instead of the usual nothing.
The one question I have is if you can get different debit cards for different checking accounts. If you have experience let us know.
