Office Max/Depot Offering up More Free Ultimate Reward Points Sunday!

Office Max/Depot 3rd Party Gift Card Sale

Office Max/Depot 3rd Party Gift Card Sale

Right on the heels of a great VGC offer Office Depot is having a sale on third party gift cards starting Sunday.  The sale is going on from 11/26/17 till 12/9/17. The deal offers $20 off certain third party gift cards when you spend at least $100.  The discount is limited to one discount per transaction.

List of Third Party Gift Cards

Here is a list of the following gift cards offered in the sale:

  • Brinker
  • Darden
  • Dominoes
  • GameStop
  • Gap Brands
  • Michaels
  • Ruby Tuesday

You can use any combination of these cards to get to the $100 threshold.  Most of these are good for personal use only.  Depending on your reselling connections GameStop, Dominoes, and the Gap cards could be break even or profitable.

Make sure you use a card that earns bonus points for office stores, like one of the Chase Ink Plus/Cash cards or American Express’ Simply Cash.  I would focus on GameStop since that one is an easy money maker.  It is also the best way to get a Switch or Xbox One etc. at a discount for Christmas.

The terms state that it is one discount per transaction, hopefully you are able to find a nice cashier who lets you do multiple purchases!

Happy Shopping!!!!

    • At this price most people can make $ with a straight up resell. But there are a lot of stores out there that will let you use a GameStop gift card to purchase other 3rd party gift cards.

      • Hey Mark! Thanks for the heads up. Can you just head into a Gamestop and purchase from their giftcard selection using the Gamestop card?

          • Mark, would you say is the best place to resell giftcards? I usually get more profit when selling through there than through selling to card cash.

          • @Christian
A lot of people swear by Raise and they usually offer better payouts but they can take longer to cash out. So it depends on if you want to cash out quickly or if you are ok sitting on some of your gift cards. If the payouts were the same I would go to Card Cash for the quicker payment. But if Raise is paying out better then I would go with that.
