  • The $150 off promotion code may be applied to a qualifying 3-night flight + hotel vacation package booked online with orbitz.com and paid for with your valid Mastercard between August 19, 2016 12:01AM CT and August 30, 2016 11:59PM CT or while supplies last, for travel between August 19, 2016, and March 30, 2017.
  • Qualifying bookings instantly receive $150 off the hotel portion of your booking at check-out through the use of the promotion code.
  • Limit one discount per package, one promotion code per itinerary, one redemption per customer.
  • The promotion code cannot be redeemed against taxes, supplier fees, cancellation or change fees/penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Analysis

This deal might sound bad considering it requires three nights in a hotel and a flight, but for short flights and markets where hotels are inexpensive it can actually be a good deal. For example, I was seeing $50 packages to Las Vegas from Phoenix and not much more from Los Angeles. Some markets will be expensive, but others will make this the perfect combo. You can also save more by starting through a shopping portal.

Conclusion

If you have upcoming travel plans that correspond to the dates of this deal, then it can’t hurt to search and see if using this promotion might make sense. In a lot of cases it won’t, but for some looking for short flights it actually could save a lot of money and/or get you a great deal!
