Rakuten Money Making Deal with Discount Code

Rakuten Money Making Deal with Discount Code

There is a new code from Rakuten today that you can turn into a small money maker if you have good gift card reselling connections.  The code gives you $10 off a $50 purchase.

Details

The details are as follows:

  • $10 off a $50 or more purchase
  • Use code GET10
  • Ends 4/25/18 11:59PM PST

OFFER PAGE

You could use it towards a regular purchase for something you need but I purchased a $50 E-GC for Microsoft Xbox.  I have been getting credit for gift card purchases on Rakuten with Ebates, it is paying 4% today.  You also earn Rakuten points on gift card purchases which you can use towards the next deal.

Conclusion

This is a quick and easy money maker, especially when you stack the portal and Rakuten points. But you need to have the proper reselling channels, don’t buy before you know you can sell it.

If reselling isn’t an option than you can get 20% off something that you need for personal use instead, plus the points and portal.

  1. quick & easy out of stock on the XBox gc. Not sure I would have gone for it anyway, as most outlets won’t even let you sell xbox anymore (e.g. Raise), and those that do, it’s a money loser.

In any case, do they carry any other gift cards? Of is Ratuken the proverbial one-trick-pony? (e.g., they only do Xbox)

    • They have others but the fees etc. make it not worth it. Looks like the $25 Xbox are still in stock for those that are able to resell them and can pair it up with something else for $25.
