Rakuten Visa Gift Card Giveaway 2019

Long time readers of Miles to Memories know that I am a big fans of shopping portals. I use them to ensure I am getting the maximum savings on my purchases. Perhaps the biggest shopping portal around is called Rakuten. Formerly known as Ebates, I have been using Rakuten for many many years.

Rakuten Re-Brand from Ebates

While the name of the portal is something that is fairly new, underneath the hood things are pretty much the same as before when it was known as Ebates. Under the new name Rakuten portal provides the same service and all of the same merchants including the ability to earn Membership Rewards points as well! I just made a toy purchase from Walmart through Rakuten yesterday and earned 5X points for example.

Rakuten Sign-Up Bonus

Conclusion

Shopping portals are an important tool that help you reduce your costs when making purchases online. They can also turn a good deal into a GREAT deal.

Rakuten is one of the more reliable shopping portals out there and is one I can confidently say I use all of the time. While I always make sure I am getting the best cashback rates, their stellar service combined with very good tracking and the ability to earn Membership Rewards points means Rakuten is a true go-to for me in the shopping portal space.

Don’t forget to sign-up for Rakuten and enter the contest using the widget above. Good luck!
