Sam’s Club One Day Sale! Gift Cards Up To 30% Off!

The Sam’s Club one day sale is back again this year.  They have a ton of items at deeply discounted prices for Saturday only.  The category I want to focus on is the gift cards.

Details

The sale is broken into two parts.  They will have some gift cards online and some in store.  The in store portion will be YMMV depending on your location.  Online goes live at 12:01 ET and the store sale starts whenever your location opens Saturday morning.

The gift cards are listed as Extreme Value cards (meaning lots of different brands offered) and they have the following rates:

  • $50 for $35
  • $100 for $70

If I remember last year right they will mostly be restaurants or entertainment cards etc. They should have $50 iTunes cards on sale as well at 14% off, limit of 2. (affiliate links below)

Conclusion

Remember to use your Chase Freedom card for 5X Ultimate Rewards or Discover for 5% cash back.

I think it is worth checking online to see if there is anything good.  If you are an early riser you could hit the stores as well because most deals will go early.  Let me know if you find anything good.

  1. The site crashed last night as soon as sale started… but I eventually got on and bought bunch of cards for personal use using my new discover IT cards (first year, 10% cashback after match). that’s like 40% off almost. Didn’t think most will be sold out this yearly. glad I stayed on…

  3. There’s an AmEx offer for $5 off a purchase of $15 or more on samsclub.com. Also for those that have a Chase Ink Plus or Ink Cash card, you can buy a Walmart gift card on Gyft.com and get 5X Ultimate Rewards. Then use your Walmart gift card to pay for your purchases at Sam’s Club (works online and in club).

  5. Don’t bother. Website and app went down almost immediately after sale started. Been hitting refresh for lat 90 minutes…
