I received an email from American Express this evening that offered a discount on Emirates flights.  It looks like Amex and Emirates worked out a partnership where if you book through their website and use a code you can save on Emirates flights with American Express partnership.

I am not sure if this is targeted or not or if you just need an American Express card to participate.  If you test it out let me know in the comments…I would guess it is available to all Amex cardholders.

You can pay with ANY American Express card per the terms.  The best option would be the Amex Platinum card which earns 5X on flights.  See if you are targeted for the 100K welcome offer.

Conclusion

If paying for flights is your thing and you were going to pay anyway you might as well save a little bit on the purchase.

    I was able to get pricing using your link and without entering any other information. Example I priced was $3750 for Business Special, for which the discount does not apply. Business Saver priced at $3900 after the $500 discount. Saver gets seat choice, chauffeur/lounge and is upgradable with points.
