Money Saving Deals For January 9, 2015

Here are a few interesting deals I have found today.

$10 Free From American Express Serve

serve reserve bonus

American Express Serve is offering targeted cardmembers $10 for creating and funding a Reserve account with $150 between January 9, 2015 & March 31, 2015. I wasn’t personally targeted, but I know quite a few people who were.

Points With a Crew has the full scoop along with step by step instructions for how to setup your Reserve account.

10% Off Sears & Kmart Gift Cards at CardCash

serve reserve bonus

Last year we were a little spoiled with 20% off deals for Sears gift cards. One 20% off eBay deal also corresponded with an eBay gift card promotion which amounted to a 23.5% discount. While this deal isn’t quite as good, Cardcash is offering Sears & Kmart gift cards at a 10% discount.

Many Sears store have been known to allow people to use Sears gift cards to purchase other gift cards. This is not the official company policy however, so I recommend being cautious before going crazy with your purchases.

One other thing to consider is purchasing a small e-gift card. These can normally be reloaded which comes in handy during large portal bonuses.

Possible 2 Free Hyatt Nights From Rite Aid

serve reserve bonus

Right now it is possible to earn 2 free nights at Hyatt along with a number of other prizes by spending $250 at RiteAid during their “Happy You Year” promotion. I do think this can both be a good deal and a major headache, since there are a number of hoops to jump through and restrictions.

Before deciding to jump in, I suggest reading how it works, the FAQ, list of participating products and the Hyatt stay terms. You can also see what other prizes or gifts are available based on your spend. The Deal Mommy also has a pretty good analysis.

In case you missed them today, there is also a new Staples Amex Offer for $25 off $100 and Hyatt’s new promotion has been revealed. Happy saving!
